Most of you probably knows this but for the ones still in the dark here's a tip that will simplify measurements calculations...
Platform: Mac and PC What is 8.5 divided by 3?orWhat is 5.45 inches + 3 points?The Quark measurement palette allows you to calculate these values very easily. Simply enter the appropriate formula in the properties you wish to change. Ex.: 200.34"/5 or 26 pt + 5 mm Quark will automatically convert the results of these operations into the current units set in your document. Properties using degrees of percentages will not accept a different unit, just simple arythmetic. |
