Variable Length Limitations
« on: June 28, 2007, 10:32:26 AM »
This is a question about variable lengths. I've noticed that we are limited to 1024 characters per variable. Is there a reason why we can't exceed that number? I really need to have unlimited variable lengths. Could it be that I'm missing something or have done something wrong?

Er, it's a little late in the day and you probably already know this, but you can set your maximum variable size in

XData>Preferences>General

Am doing my first foray into arrays, a fantastically useful concept but the job I'm trying to build them into is already horribly complex. Plus at this stage I can't manage to put XCatalog links onto items which come out of arrays, rather than directly from the data....
