Hmmm.... no. Its making me crash.

Let me do a thumbdrag, see if that fixes things.

(just to clarify: I'm in QX 7.5...)

Thumbnail drag didn't work, but...

when I created a new text box, it worked.

Almost like QX 7.5 sees something it doesn't like in text boxes created in older versions, but it works fine with "native" boxes (boxes created in 7.5).

So now all I have to do is
...recreate every document, from scratch!

No!!!

Are you opening docs from previous versions with the keyboard shortcut that would update text flow and file code to your active version? If not I'd hardly recommend it to you.

Yes, the document which keeps crashing was opened via Option-Open to update the flow version.

Are you saying you would NOT recommend doing that? Or you would?

I do recommend that! Even Ctrl-Alt-Open. That will update both text flow and file structure. Please read more about it here.
