    tell text box "FocusBox" of class current spread
       

now appears like so in Script Editor:

    tell «class TXTB» "FocusBox" of «class CUSP»

Quit both apps SE and QXP and relaunch. That should fix it. If not, reboot.

Yeah, that's what I would have thought too.
But I quit everything, rebooted, still the same... ?!?

The most common thing when this has happened to me is when I open a script and the targeted applications were not already launched and opening the script kicks them into activity. I think if they all rush to open but don't do it in time the script editor looses the required app info. As JMS has suggested usually clears it up fine.
